Who are we?

Hello and Welcome to our brand-new collective! We are pleased to have you here, and hopefully, you will stay with us for a long time! For starters, who are we as a collective you may ask? Well, that is exactly what we will answer in this first post!

The Galaxy Collective is a group of artists who want to promote their work in a monthly newsletter to tell our community what’s new and what’s to come in our respective art journeys. The collective is also intended to help small artists, cosplayers, and writers have their little moments to shine in our newsletter, but this will be installed later in 2025.

Alwen is a digital artist who thrives on bringing fantasy worlds to life. With a deep love for elves, fairies, dragons, and the mysteries of stars and galaxies, their art captures the magic and wonder of the extraordinary.

Inspired by legendary universes like Lord of the Rings, and Dungeons & Dragons, Alwen creates enchanting illustrations that invite viewers to step into realms of imagination. They are also the creator of A Bard's Tale, a captivating webcomic where magic, music, and mischief collide in unforgettable adventures.

Through their work, Alwen aims to spark joy and inspiration in fellow dreamers and adventurers. Their art is not just about fantasy—it's about exploring the infinite possibilities of creativity.

Meet MaLau, a writer who thrives on the magic of words and the thrill of a good challenge!

Property manager, trained combat diver, and three years of naval service,  she has a very unique and fascinating way to see the world and she shares it beautifully in all her projects.

She really found a way to bring beauty and camaraderie in all facets of life. 

All of her work in all domains has one common motivation: bringing humans together. Creating connections and celebrating the uniqueness of each living being. 

Whether it’s exploring uncharted realms or unraveling the secrets of her characters, pushing you into your own creativity, or simply offering you a funky accommodation for a night, she pours passion and imagination into every tale.

She recently conceptualized a new immersive RP game, that offers 3 new worlds for players to enjoy. 

She also excels in other disciplines, like painting.

Her last painting series was a tribute to the perfection and art within nature itself, the beauty and the unicity of a simple leaf. A love letter to earth.

Meet Princemooncos: A Decade of Creativity, Confidence, and Community in Cosplay

We are thrilled to introduce you to Princemooncos, a passionate and talented cosplayer from Montreal who has been cosplaying for over 10 years. Known for his stunning cosplay of Keyleth from Vox Machina - Critical Role in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons, as well as characters from the hugely popular game Genshin Impact, Princemooncos has made a significant mark in the cosplay community.

With an eye for detail and a love for photography & videography, Princemooncos’s cosplays stand out for their dedication to bringing characters to life.

But Princemooncos is not just about the costumes. As a strong advocate for self-esteem and body positivity, he has made it his mission to help others feel confident in their skin through cosplay. He regularly hosts panels about self-esteem in the cosplay community, offering support, encouragement, and advice on embracing individuality. He also authored a magazine focused on building self-esteem within the cosplay space, inspiring countless individuals to celebrate who they are, no matter their size, shape, or background.

His second magazine edition will be published at the beginning of January 2025!

In addition to his creative talents and community work, Princemooncos has built a powerful presence on social media. He shares everything from cosplay tutorials and behind-the-scenes content to personal stories of growth and empowerment.
